How it works

  1. Select or drop an image.
  2. Choose rotate left/right or flip horizontal/vertical — apply as many as you need.
  3. Preview updates immediately after each transform.
  4. Download the result.

Supported formats & limitations

  • JPG / JPEG
Output preserves the source format by default.
  • PNG
Transparency is preserved through rotation and flipping.
  • WebP
Fully supported for both input and output.
  • Rotating by 90°/270° swaps the image width and height.
  • Only 90° increments are supported — free-angle rotation is not.

Frequently asked questions

Does rotating reduce image quality?

90° rotations and flips are pixel-preserving — there is no quality loss beyond the final re-encode step.

Can I apply multiple transforms at once?

Yes, rotate and flip actions stack — for example rotate 90° then flip horizontal.

Is my image uploaded?

No, every transform is drawn locally using the Canvas API.

Troubleshooting

Why does the downloaded image still look unrotated?

Make sure you click Apply after selecting a rotation or flip — the preview updates live, but the download only reflects transforms that were applied.

Why did the image dimensions change after a 90° rotation?

That’s expected — a 90°/270° rotation swaps the width and height of the output compared to the original.
